Description
Tettnanger origin comes from Germany is currently grown all over the world (currently Swiss, America and Australian varieties can be found on the market). The real Tettnanger, on the other hand, is grown around the home village of Tettnang in southwest Germany and in small amounts near Lake Konstanz in Switzerland. Although Tettnanger is very similar to Hallertau and Saaz, it has much more farnesene than these varieties, giving it a subtle spiciness and a subtle, balanced, floral and herbal aroma. It is a great double-use hops, perfect for lagers and pilsners.
