Description
“A master of consistency”
Pacific Gem premiere was in 1987 derived from the New Zealand variety “Smoothcone” crossed with the American Cluster and Fuggle. Pacific Gem is characterized by a great composition of oils, which translates into fantastic aromatic properties. It is a very pleasant hops with a high alpha acid content (x> 13%). It fills the brewhouses with the aroma of oak and blackberries. Usually used as one of the first additions, giving it an excellent temperamental bitterness and aroma. When adding the Pacific Gem in the later stages, expect citrus and pine notes.
