Description
“A brewery workhorse”
Hops with a spicy “dried fruit” character and a solid finish (11-14% AA). Perfect for both bitterness and aroma. It had premiere in the 1970s, when New Zealand varieties have exceeded the limits of alpha acids in their pursuit of bitterness. Green Bullet is an alpha rich variety that also has high levels of floral oils to complement and balance the resinous nature of the hops. Provides traditional hop bitterness and flavor. Referred to as the flagship of the New Zealand brewing industry, in the past it was often chosen as bitterness hops for lagers, today more often used for ALEs. Due to its root properties, it is also a great choice for Dry Stout. Green Bullet is a universal hops, which is perfect for bitterness, as a late addition to the pot, or for whirppol and cold hopping.
