Description
CTZ is an acronym for Columbus, Tomahawk, and Zeus. The relationship between these hops can be described as “it’s complicated”. For a long time, growers wondered what name this variety should bear, but luckily they finally came to a compromise. The name is widely known and the variety is recognizable. CTZ hops are characterized by a high concentration of alpha acids, emanate citrus, pine and spices. It makes the beer so full of bitterness that you will beg for mercy.
