Centennial is a delicate citrus hops known as “super Cascade”. It appeared in 1974 and challenged hops such as Fuggle and East Kent Goldings. Hops growers consider Centennial hops to be one of the most “unruly” hops, but their efforts are offset by the high quality and popularity of the hops.
